摘要: B cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B-CLL) is a hematological malignancy considered as the most common in Western world. The understanding of differentiation crucial for diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment disease. Areas covered: In this review, B-cell ontogeny its relation with CLL development, combination proteomic approaches which could provide deep characterization disease through cellular signaling pathways involved pathological cells described. Expert commentary: Although conventional strategies (genome sequencing, morphology assays, immunophenotyping by flow cytometry and/or immunochemistry) have allowed establishment stage based on different parameters, it still necessary to utilize novel (e.g., proteomics) that potential simultaneously analyze thousands molecules improve CLL.
