Distribution of plasminogen allotypes in eight populations of the Western Hemisphere

摘要: Phenotyping for plasminogen (PLG) variants on 0.5 mm agarose isoelectric focusing gels enabled us to identify six different allotypes among the eight populations studied. PLG *1 and *2 were seen at polymorphic frequencies in all studied except Eskimos which had a gene frequency of 0.993 *1. The *3, *B, low some populations, whereas *M was only identified local White population. A new variant named *D, we consider be marker black Blacks Black Caribs 0.037 0.058, respectively.
