摘要: Knowledge about genetic variation at the plasminogen (PLG) locus has increased considerably since independent discoveries of Hobart (1979) and Raum which described two common alleles. A recent publication by Skoda et al (1986), resulting from a 1984 symposium in Munich, West Germany, established proposed nomenclature for PLG system recommending that alleles be called B. Eleven (11) additional variants identified other contributing laboratories received new name PLG*A1, A2, A3, M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, B1, B2 B3.
