摘要: In this paper we describe some results of the Alice project. is an ontology based e-commerce project which aims to support online users in task shopping. Ontologies describing customers, products, typical shopping tasks and external context form basis for architecture. We also exploit two novel interface metaphors originally developed navigating databases: Guides metaphor Dynamic Queries. The was at Apple reduce cognitive load on learners a large hypermedia database. Within use allow shoppers classify themselves. discuss link between Kozinet?s notion e-tribes or Virtual Communities Consumption. Our second Queries (coupled with Starfield displays) very quickly find relevant items by displaying queries, posed via specialised slider widgets, within 100 milliseconds. have constructed tool, Quiver, constructs Query interfaces on-the-fly as result queries knowledge models stored server.
