摘要: Primary Objective: To compare the level of motor, sensory and functional impairment individuals hospitalized in a stroke unit Brazil at time admission profile observed hospital discharge. Design: Observational longitudinal outcome study. Methods Procedure: We assessed 41 patients with ischemic discharge by using National Institute Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Fugl-Meyer Physical Performance (FM), Functional Independence Measure (FIM) Modified Rankin (mRS) divided group that received or not thrombolytic therapy. Were used wilcoxon spearman tests. Results: Significant differences were found between assessment (p < .0001) indicating clinical improvement for submitted to treatment. A moderate correlation was total FM FIM (ρ = 0.729; p value<.0001); motor 0.705; negative NIHSS -0.709; value<.0001). Strong also 0.972; Conclusions: Clinical severity softened along hospitalization period. The clinical, characterization enlarges understanding sequelae, besides monitoring deficits disability this population Brazil.
