摘要: Abstract: This paper identifies factors that affect economists views on journals relevance and reputation sheds light their interrelationship. We find positively affects vice versa, but has a much stronger impact than relevance. Citation frequency is key determinant for both journal Given citation frequency, specialised are considered less relevant and, because of this, also reputed, even though the direct effect poitive.
