摘要: Education decisions determine a great part of future income. This paper argues that if education is financed by parents' current income lump-sum tax reduces inequality all parents have strict investment incentives. However, some are indifferent there possible decrease in the wage gap via contrary indirect effect which drops returns schooling. Under incentives social mobility not affected, but it increases skilled weak and decreases unskilled their decision.
