摘要: Epidemiological studies have shown a relationship between air pollution and allergic airway disease. In previous study we found that exposure to SO2 enhances sensitization inhaled ovalbumin (OA) in the guinea pig. We now investigated influence of pre-treatment with anti-inflammatory drugs on SO2-induced enhancement this model. Four groups 6 pigs each were exposed 5 ppm consecutive days over 8 h per day intermittent inhalation OA, while air-control group was clean OA. During period three experimental treated indomethacin (group I), methylprednisolone M) nebulized nedocromil sodium N), control remained untreated. Guinea for OA by specific bronchial provocation tests using body plethysmographic measurement compressed (CA) antibody response serum. While SO2-exposed animals reacted testing (CA median 0.15 ml, range 0-0.175 ml), only 1 animal sensitized M 0 0–0.125, p 2 inhibits inhalative our pig
