摘要: Abstract Three thousand and ninety-seven lung cancer patients interviewed in different U.S. hospitals 1977–1984 were classified into Kreyberg I II categories. In both sexes, found to be younger more frequently Jewish; among the male only, cases higher educational occupational level. These differences remained when effect of cigarette smoking was controlled. Study data showed an increase frequency over time, significantly, a decrease with age I: ratio sexes. It is concluded that observed secular real not merely due changes diagnostic methodology. On basis demographic noted, possible etiologic factors may have contributed recent distribution by cell type are suggested.
