摘要: Objective To compare the accuracy of a new office-based serological test for detection current Helicobacter pylori infection with gastric histopathology. Methods An H. was performed in 92 consecutive patients dyspeptic symptoms. The result this compared blindly rapid urease and histopathology on biopsies. sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative value were calculated against Results Among patients, detected by 61 (66%) 56 (60%) respectively. Meanwhile diagnosed 55 (59%). On comparison histology, sensitivity specificity 85 90%, 94 76%, 87% study. Conclusion found comparable diagnosis infection. This is useful tool out patients' setting.
