摘要: External confinement in the form of steel rings, tie bars, spirals and FRP wraps has been widely adopted for strengthening concrete-filled-steel-tube (CFST) columns. Previous experimental theoretical studies have proved that it can improve strength, elastic stiffness, ductility interface bonding CFST However, real engineering practise, columns need to be strengthened are usually under pre-compressed axial load. The stress-lagging effect between external due pre-loading not yet justified. In this paper, circular jacket is proposed uni-axial behaviour with without An study, consisting 5 hollow-steel-tubes 10 thin-walled was conducted examine effectiveness scheme. main parameters were concrete cylinder spacing load level.
