摘要: The theory of risk homeostasis has been put forward as a tentative explanation for jurisdiction’s traffic accident rate per km, hour road-user exposure, and capita, well their pattern interrelations. According to this theory, the time unit expo-sure is end product homeostatic control process in which level accepted by road user population—in return benefits accruing from manner amount mobility—functions regulating variable. Although real-life data lending support are many varied, there lack controlled experimental verification. latter meets with obstacles two kinds: inherent shortcomings laboratory studies investigation human behavior, complications arising nature itself.
