摘要: Patients with diabetes have greater cardiovascular disease morbidity and mortality than non-diabetic patients. Since the beginning of clinical nuclear cardiology over two decades ago, myocardial perfusion scintigraphy has become a mature technique for evaluating coronary artery several studies specifically shown prognostic power in patients diabetes. Silent ischemia is frequent associated similar or poorer prognosis as non-silent disease. Current opinion to recommend stress symptomatic high-risk asymptomatic patients, effectiveness this approach still under study, but encouraging preliminary results exist. Myocardial imaging can play an important role improving management CAD Important questions remain be debated regarding who screen, when how do cost-effective manner.
