摘要: Lymphatic vasculature has recently emerged as a prominent area in biomedical research because of its essential role the maintenance normal fluid homeostasis and involvement pathogenesis several human diseases, such solid tumor metastasis, inflammation lymphedema. Identification lymphatic endothelial specific markers regulators, VEGFR-3, VEGF-C/D, PROX1, podoplanin, LYVE-1, ephrinB2 FOXC2, development mouse models have laid foundation for our understanding major steps controlling growth remodeling vessels. In this review we summarize recent advances field discuss how knowledge well use model organisms, zebrafish Xenopus, should allow further depth analysis vascular system.
