摘要: Abstract Introduction Seronegative spondyloarthritis (SpA) is a group of chronic potentially disabling diseases that affect mainly axial joints in addition to extra-articular manifestations such as enthesitis, dactylitis and uveitis. Aim the work To assess demographic features, clinical radiological findings SpA Egyptian patients. Patients methods Fifty-three patients were recruited from Rheumatology Immunology Unit Mansoura University Hospital. Demographic, therapeutic data collected. Skin was carefully assessed for psoriasis. Erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) C-reactive protein (CRP) measured. All evaluated by conventional radiographs hands, knees, ankles, sacroiliac (SIJ) lumbosacral spines magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) SIJs. Results Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) most prevalent (55%) followed psoriatic arthritis (PsA) (38%) 2 had enteropathic arthritis, one reactive another undifferentiated SpA. The mean age 39 ± 10.8 years; disease duration 10 ± 3.5 years with male predominance (58%). Inflammatory low back pain present all 77.4% both peripheral arthritis. Extra-articular bursitis detected only 9.4% Sacroiliitis 81.1% using radiographs. MRI bone marrow edema 9.4%, narrowing 11.3%, sclerosis 17% ankylosis 52.8%. Conclusion demographic, characteristics are comparable those other countries except lower prevalence manifestations.
