摘要: Abstract The characterization and the filtration behavior of commercial ultrafiltration (UF) membranes used in removal triglycerides (TG) combined mixtures (TG•fatty acid) from glycerol•water solution were examined. Flat sheet polyethersulfone polyvinylidenfluoride for comparison. Glycerol•water solutions synthesized as feed influences membrane surface chemistry pH studied. Fouling TG TG•FA analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force (AFM), Fourier transform spectroscopy (FTIR), contact angle energy measurement. Results this work reveal that hydrophobic surfaces are more prone to FA deposition than less mixture. SEM morphologies cross structure well FTIR spectrums revealed severely fouled with (oil droplets) instead TG•FA. Further, measurements obtained showed angles tended decrease oil wetted material acidic conditions.
