摘要: Abstract Objective To investigate and describe the distribution of aortic cerebral blood flow in patients with severe valvular stenosis before after valve bypass surgery. Methods We enrolled 10 consecutive who underwent surgeryfor stenosis. Cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) brain MR (BMR) were performed as baseline surgery twice Quantitative measurements obtained using 1.5 Tesla scanner phase contrast images ascending aorta, descending thoracic aorta (3 cm proximally distally from conduit-to-aorta anastomosis) ventricular outflow portion conduit. The evaluation was 3.0 arterial spin labelling (ASL) through sequences acquired at grey matter, dorsal default-mode network sensorimotor level. Results Conduit flow, expressed by percentage total anterograde conduit, 63.5±8% 67.8±7% ( p (p= 0.435) reduction left stroke volume postoperative compared to preoperative evaluation. No difference 0.394) between level have been observed. Conclusions After cardiac output is split native tract (LVOT) apico-aortic two-thirds antegrade passing latter one-third former. assessment our experience confirms that redistribution does not jeopardize supply.
