摘要: Quiescent S-phase cells, i.e. cells with an DNA content that do not show BrdU incorporation, can be induced in a dose-dependent manner by irradiation and/or hyperthermia (Zolzer et al. 1992). As they begin to appear only 48–72 h after treatment, seem related early cell cycle disturbances, but rather late events involved death. We therefore determined colony forming ability under the same conditions, and tried correlate two parameters. Although, general, higher frequencies of unlabelled were associated lower survival, there interesting differences. At level for instance, quiescent more efficiently than irradiation. Additional experiments split dose protocols showed while killing was reduced fractionation, frequency increased. This further corroborates our conclusion is no simple relationship between param...
