摘要: Actinic cheilitis (AC) is a common premalignant condition that requires an effective treatment to reduce the risk of malignant transformation. Photodynamic therapy (PDT) has been recently added armamentarium available for AC treatment. Daylight PDT (D-PDT) novel modality in which activation topical photosensitizer induced by exposure natural daylight instead artificial light sources without preliminary occlusion. This simplified procedure was found be more tolerated as compared conventional PDT. We report our experience on use D-PDT using methyl-aminolevulinate cream 10 patients with refractory lower lip. Patients received two consecutive sessions interval 7-14 days. At 3 months after therapy, complete response observed seven patients, sustained results five over observational period 6-12 months. Treatment well tolerated.
