摘要: Ethnobotanical information can clarify how dependent a community is on local plant resources and provide evidence about the consequences of resource exploitation. We performed quantitative analysis different aspects knowledge use palms by residents surrounding Tucurui Hydroelectric Power Station reservoir, eastern Amazonia, their relationship with socioeconomic factors, adopting methodology consensus among informants. based study accidental sampling 232 families data were gathered through semi-structured forms. evaluated correlations between effective importance species effect factors as cited Informants know 27 20 these in eight categories, main ones being for food, utensils construction. The most widely used important Attalea speciosa, Oenocarpus bacaba, Euterpe oleracea, A. maripa Socratea exorrhiza. For informants, value palm directly related to types uses that it offers. greater farmers than fishermen and, when considering medicinal aspect, women men.
