摘要: The accumulation of debris and drifts around a bridge pier can substantially modify the local scour pattern. These accumulations influence hydraulic structure, which results in new configuration. As result, hole dimensions generally increase as increases. Moreover, process is also affected by roughness accumulation. This paper investigates time-averaged flow field at cylindrical analyses on field. Velocity fields were examined presence different rough with constant frontal area 5% total area. data confirm effect compared pilot tests. resulted larger velocities turbulence near wake.
