Daily skin care habits and the risk of skin eruptions and symptoms in cancer patients

摘要: ABSTRACT Background Cancer patients are at high risk for skin problems because rapidly proliferating cells susceptible to anticancer therapies. However, the effects of daily care habits on development in cancer have rarely been studied. Patients and methods We conducted a survey presence 866 patients. Results Hot water bath >1 h significantly increased definite eruptions [odds ratio (OR) 4.09] itching or pain (OR 1.73). Diligent use moisturizers did not decrease symptoms, bathing, scrubbing off while sun protection influence symptoms. Subgroup analysis 183 breast showed results similar total results, including that hot 3.41).
