摘要: Abstract Superfine α-Al 2 O 3 synthesized by a precipitation method and commercial were used to prepare bimodal alumina. Densification of alumina with MgO, SiO as additives was investigated from 1400 1550 °C. The addition superfine is not effective enhance the densification at sintering temperature 1400 °C. With further increase temperature, densities ceramics different contents are similar in values. microstructure evolution, well mechanical properties also studied. For 1450 °C sintered Al ceramics, fine grains located skeletal structure coarse increasing led fine-grain structure. Spinel mullite observed regions. 1500 °C ceramic, there significant grain growth. Mullite, spinel MAS glass formed triple-grain junctions. Both 1450 have no liquid phase boundaries. can distinctly bending strength ceramics. best gained when then deteriorated temperature.
