摘要: The potential impact of climate change on port operations and infrastructures has received much less attention than the corresponding for beach systems. However, ports have always been vulnerable to weather extremes could enhance such occurrences at timescales comparable design lifetime harbour engineering structures. analysis in this paper starts with main climatic variables affecting exploitation. It continues a review available projections first global scale then regional (Catalan coast western Mediterranean) as study case similar environments planet. detailed assessment impacts from downscaled mean sea level wave storms (wind not considered paper). This is followed by an infrastructure performance that are relevant perspective. key factors here relative level, storm features (height, period, direction duration) their combined effect, which expected produce highest impacts. ends discussion some examples analyses aiming adaptation future change.
