摘要: Abstracts Objectives Chronic inflammation plays a key role in the pathogenesis of malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) as result asbestos exposure. Several inflammation-based prognostic scores including lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (LMR), Glasgow Prognostic Score (GPS), neutrophil-to-lymphocyte (NLR), and platelet-to-lymphocyte (PLR) reportedly predict survival many malignancies, while LMR MPM remains unclear. The aim this study was to evaluate clinical value compare these predicting overall (OS) MPM. Materials methods One hundred fifty patients with histologically proven were included retrospective study. Kaplan–Meier curves multivariate Cox-regression analyses calculated for OS. area under receiver operating characteristics curve (AUC) discriminatory ability each scoring system. Results An elevated significantly associated prolonged Patients p =0.000). consistently had higher AUC at 6 months (0.722), 12 (0.712), 24 (0.670), compared other scores. Multivariate analysis showed that independently Conclusions is an independent marker OS superior respect ability.
