摘要: The question of how tumor viruses overcome cellular growth controls has increasingly become a problem approachable with the tools molecular biology and genetics. This development been possible during last decade due largely to availability several model virus-cell systems for experimental study, notably those C-type RNA-containing such as Rous sarcoma virus small DNA containing polyoma SV-40. Most recently, this central approached through isolation characterization conditional lethal mutants these viruses. purpose review is summarize progress contributed by studies on mutants. Several reviews are available which deal more broadly SV-40 (Black, 1968; Eckhart, 1968 1969a; Dulbecco, 1969; Sambrook, 1972)2. A sufficiently detailed description its interactions cells in culture will nevertheless be given here serve background viral
