摘要: Multiaxial forging (MAF) was used as a strain induced melt activated (SIMA) process. The coarsening kinetics of the MAF formed AZ91D during partial remelting has been investigated. With increasing temperature, liquid is initially by eutectic with lower melting point at boundaries and penetrates recrystallised boundaries. Prolonged holding time resulted in grain coarsening. Grain semisolid state can be described classical LSW (Lifshiz, Slyozov Wanger) equation Ostwald ripening. rate does decreases for temperature than 560°C, then increases again further from 560 to 570°C.
