摘要: Abstract Acetone-butanol-ethanol (ABE) has been directly used in modern engines as a way to eliminate the high separation cost during butanol fermentation process. Nevertheless, further development of ABE could be restricted by corrosiveness acetone mixture. By converting into Isopropanol-Butanol-Ethanol (IBE) single biochemical step, different yet more stable alternative fuel available. This study is aimed investigate performance, combustion, and soot luminosity constant volume chamber fueled with varying ratios IBE diesel. blended at 20% 40% 80% 60% diesel, respectively, neat diesel were compared under various ambient oxygen temperature conditions. Overall, IBE-diesel blends able maintain combustion spray characteristics similar that while same time reducing soot. However, lower temperatures concentrations, show higher ignition delays which affect combustion.
