摘要: AbstractBuccal administration offers certain unique advantages for the drugs which cannot be easily or efficiently administered by oral intravenous route. However, transbucccal delivery receiived relatively little attention and few well-controlled studies of buccal mucosa permeability have been conducted. The provides a protective covering underlying tissue, being as barrier microorganisms toxins. This article extensively reviews histology mucosa, permeation (both invitro in vivo) drug system, their development various types techniques devices available through mucosa.
