摘要: Insulin stimulates the translation of ribosomal protein (r-protein) mRNAs and transcription rDNA in mouse MM14DZ myoblasts. Analysis distribution S16, L18, L32 r-protein polysome gradients indicates that increased these insulin-treated myoblasts is due to recruitment were not previously being translated. In contrast, translational efficiencies beta-actin, c-myc, p31 are affected by insulin. Hybridization analysis RNA transcribed nuclear run-on reactions insulin also rDNA. Both increases occur coordinately maximal within 15 min treatment However, has no effect on rate cell division or steady state levels mRNAs. Surprisingly, after differentiate into fibers, does affect mRNA transcription. These experiments indicate synthesis macromolecular components ribosomes tightly controlled
