摘要: models can perform the dual functions of organizing knowledge how urban systems work and grow, providing support for analyzing policy planning proposals. Modern modeling has progressed substantially in last fifty years, as a result extensive development supported by massive data collection growing computing power. Much been impelled needs transportation analysis, but land use or locational advanced well beyond initially fragmented descriptive theories. The major difficulty arises out underlying importance resource allocation, which is influenced complex behavioral patterns requires an interdisciplinary approach. These behaviors are defined too narrowly purely economic models, descriptively observational discrete choice. This dichotomy focus modeling, being gradually overcome.
