摘要: Abstract Determining species extinction risk and its drivers is a major goal for conservation biology. The IUCN Red List widely used classifying extinction-risk prioritizing action. However, this system has been acknowledged as biased complementary approaches are strongly recommended to achieve more reliable conclusions on priorities. Species traits, often perceived determinant resiliency disturbances, have identify potentially vulnerable species, even when data scarce (e.g. Data Deficient species). We provide an integrative cost-effective framework predicting using 195 anurans from the Brazilian Cerrado. population trend expert-perceived vulnerability habitat alteration response variables, traits associated increased extinction-risk. threat pressure geographic range determine which areas should higher priority. found be underestimated, many categorized LC or DD actually sensitive and/or declining. identified breeding site, clutch size predictors of anuran risk. that > 70% biome's protection gaps, incurring in high southwest central regions biome main hotspots prioritized conservation. Our may particularly valuable assess prioritize action regarding less studied taxa with anthropogenic pressure, but weak government support funding.
