摘要: Abstract In a previous publication, we reported that B-lymphocyte-deprived mice possess heightened in vivo resistance to methycholanthrene-induced syngeneic fibrosarcoma. The present vitro study has disclosed spleens of such significantly higher cytotoxic activity against the same tumor compared normal rabbit globulin-injected control animals, and this increase cannot be accounted for by mere elimination B lymphocytes. cell mediating response was found natural-killer-like on basis its organ distribution, full activation without immunization, target specificity shown directly cold inhibition experiments, surface markers. It is suggested increased activity, which does not appear decline with age, may responsible antitumor T mice.
