摘要: Cardiac hypertrophy is very common in our society, affecting 15 to 20% of adults the general population [1] and nearly 90% hospitalized, adult, cardiac patients [2] North America. Pressure overload a well-recognized risk factor for development sudden death, myocardial infarction congestive heart failure [3]. Hypertrophied hearts are also more susceptible injury after ischemia reperfusion than normal [4–7].
