摘要: Background Although there are many surgical treatments for covering the skin defect of fore-mid foot, how to reconstruct weight-bearing region remains a challenge. The sole needs withstand pressure and shearing stresses walking, so plantar is anatomically different from other skins in areas texture, thickness, subcutaneous tissue, etc. Medial flaps that harvested instep regarded as first choice reconstruction because their excellent functional aesthetic long-term result. However, when facing an extensive on area such foot avulsion, application this flap limited if we put forefoot, set vessels will be exposed outside. Methods We suggest 2 connected free (posterior tibial artery medial flap) pedicled with 1 vessels. was used cover forefoot. dorsal injured covered posterior supplied vessel. midfoot repaired by full-skin grafting. Results Long-term follow-up results showed shape function limbs recovered almost entirely. Conclusion This method suitable repairing large defects foot.
