摘要: This thesis focuses on the design of linkage and quantitative trait locus (QTL) mapping experiments use genetic markers in poultry breeding schemes. Criteria to optimize that outbred populations create a map were described. Those criteria used evaluate designs codominant dominant using half-sib full-sib family structures. Once is created, QTLs can be placed map. Deterministic computation methods determine power two- three- generation QTL an population containing or families. Genetic are linked for selection purposes. The effect assist nucleus was studied. additional response sex-limited computed deterministic simulation. general discussion this addresses status chicken map, found poultry, discusses usefulness several applications breeding.
