摘要: We investigated the resistance development in resistive superconducting fault current limiters (SFCLs) based on YBa/sub 2/Cu/sub 3/O/sub 7/ thin films prior to quench completion. The behavior of during this time period is important for SFCLs since it closely related limitation speed SFCLs. 0.3 /spl mu/m thick film 2 inch diameter was coated with a gold layer 0.2 thickness and patterned into mm wide meander lines. SFCL subjected simulated AC measurements. It immersed liquid nitrogen experiment. first increased rapidly increase slowed down. superposition an oscillatory component slowly varying background. background then time, linearly source voltage. small, constant amplitude, independent These results could be explained quantitatively concept propagation, which caused by heat transfer within transition state. A simulation function derived from balance equation. Data fit well function.
