摘要: Projection neurons in the rat hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus (pv) were identified using retrograde transport of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) following injections this tracer into neurohypophysis or jugular vein. The objective was to determine if parvocellular pv might be labelled by either injection addition well known magnocelluLar contingent. Injections confined resulted labelling only magnocellular neurons, while intrajugular which produced spread HRP arcuate nucleus-median eminence region both and elements. Thus may project and/or external layer median eminance but not neurohypophysis.
