摘要: This study examined the viability of sweet orange market in Nigeria using Kwara State, as a case study. The specifically estimated distribution net margins among various marketing agents: wholesaler and retailer identifies constraints limiting commodity market. Data were collected from 160 marketers; sixty-four wholesalers ninety-six retailers surveyed across State. margin efficiency estimates N25.1 per kg 273.7 cent respectively at end while these N85.6 232.3 respectively. Problems found to include poor storage, assess credit facilities road infrastructures. therefore calls for enhancement storage techniques research mobilization marketers join viable cooperatives so organize fund their activities.
