摘要: Three dogs in which polypropylene suture material was used to close an enteric surgery site a continuous pattern were evaluated at later date because of recurrence signs intestinal disease. Surgery each dog revealed that the had been extruded into lumen intestine and acted as for attachment foreign body. The nonabsorbable nature its use are possible explanations this complication. Polydioxanone or poliglecaprone 25 may be suitable alternatives closure small sites.
