摘要: Objective— To describe an unusual long-term complication of circular end-to-end anastomosis (CEEA) stapling in a dog. Study Design— Clinical case report. Animal— An 11-year-old, female neutered, Labrador Retriever. Methods— The dog was referred for clinical signs bowel obstruction. enterectomy performed 2 years before presentation using CEEA device. Palpation, plain radiographs, and ultrasound the abdomen confirmed presence mass bowel, causing obstruction, requiring surgical approach. Results— exploratory celiotomy revealed 5 cm jejunum, involving site previous surgery. removed by enterectomy. Dissection many staples at site, trichobezoar entangled exposed parts staples. Conclusions— required to treat intestinal obstruction caused CEEA-stapled anastomosis. Clinical Relevance— Development subsequent should be considered but potential anastomosis.
