摘要: Today’s high-tech consumer market demand complex, portable personal wireless devices which are low-cost and have small sizes. Creative methods of combining mature integrated circuit (IC) fabrication techniques with innovative radio-frequency micro-electro-mechanical systems (RF-MEMS) has given birth to transceiver components operated at higher frequencies but manufactured the standard ICs. Oscillators, RF bandpass filters low noise amplifiers most critical important modules any transceiver. Their individual characteristics determine overall performance a This chapter illustrates oscillators utilize MEMS as their frequency generator. Emphasis will be design suit modern communication systems. Several different types discussed namely ring, LC voltage-controlled-oscillator. Reviews current RF-MEMS oscillator circuits also given.
