摘要: nism for modification of genetic expression without a change in the DNA sequence. MBD2 (methyl-CpG-binding domain 2 protein) belongs to family enzymes concerning demethylation and suppresses hypermethylation CpG island transcription. In this study, we investigated blood tissue colorectal cancer patients compared two levels. Methods: The 68 included study were with who had undergone surgery at our hospital, 50 other no malignant disease recruited from normal populations. Total RNA samples isolated whole tissues specimens using TRI REAGENT BD kit. MBD was measured by real-time quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction assays. Results: mean age older case group than control group. level not different between groups. group, lower under all conditions, that difference statistically significant (P<0.01). showed negative correlation patients, coefficient R=0.073, but result (P=0.611). Conclusions: same significantly higher expression. suggests may affect mechanism carcinogenesis.
