摘要: The introduction of video objects (VOs) is one the innovations MPEG-4. /spl alpha/-plane a VO defines its shape at given instance in time and hence determines boundary texture. In packet-based networks, shape, motion, texture are subject to loss. While there has been considerable attention paid concealment motion errors, little done field error concealment. this paper, we propose post-processing error-concealment technique that uses geometric information received alpha/-plane. Second-order Hermite splines used model neighboring blocks, while third order missing boundary. velocities these matched point closest block. There exists possibility multiple concealing per group lost parts. Therefore, draw every spline combination does not self-intersect keep all possible results until end. At end, select solution closed Experimental demonstrating performance proposed method comparisons with prior methods presented.
