Comparison of H−/D− measurement in the magnetically filtered region of the large negative ion source

摘要: Characteristics of D− production are experimentally compared with that H− production, both in extracted negative ion beam and density the extraction region, which is magnetically filtered region front plasma grid. Extracted current reduces to 1/2–1/3 case electron simultaneously increases more than twice as H2 discharge at same filling gas pressure. Variation similar current. Small reduction observed, position, but ratio differs from beam. When pressure raised, almost linearly increase, H−.
