摘要: Serum elastase 1 has been evaluated in 115 patients with pancreatic and nonpancreatic gastrointestinal diseases 36 healthy controls. Increased serum values were found all 27 acute pancreatitis. If the diagnostic cutoff was established as 2-fold increase above upper normal range, sensitivity of (100%) superior to lipase (90%), immunoreactive trypsin (87%) amylase (78%). Specificity 96% for at this cutoff. No distinction possible between edematous necrotizing pancreatitis on basis peak concentrations. Among 32 chronic increased 22% decreased 16% patients, showing a striking parallelism trypsin. Specificity, controls 49 different diseases, 77% 1, 76% trypsin, 83% 91% amylase. In addition, we investigated 21 severe renal diseases. insufficiency 33%, comparable frequency levels, whereas 95%. Immunoreactive showed significant correlation creatinin concentration, other enzymes did not.
