摘要: The embryonic development of the optic nerve zebrafish, Brachydanio rerio, was studied by three-dimensional computer reconstruction from serial section electron micrographs. Growing fibers retinal ganglion cells had growth cones in contact with more mature adjacent cell bodies. In observed pattern, immediately behind eye were ordered such a way that rectangular coordinates fiber positions approximately proportional to polar their body positions. We suggest this transformation is achieved simple following mechanism translates time and position differentiation into well-defined spatial organization within nerve.
