摘要: A complication of breast conservation, which has been increasingly reported in the literature, is 'delayed cellulitis' treated breast. This to be distinguished from wound infection following lumpectomy. study reports 16 cases diagnosed with delayed cellulitis conserving surgery, unresponsive antibiotic therapy. Diagnostic criteria included: pain, erythema and edema operated Symptoms appeared up 10 months after surgery time resolution was seven a half months. No patients had positive cytology bacteriology tests were negative. Thirteen observed, three antibiotics no apparent immediate effect. The appearance poses problematic diagnostic management dilemma. It important distinguish between this entity infection, or inflammatory carcinoma. picture may attributed impairment occlusion lymphatic circulation seems newly defined an incidence 3-5%.
