摘要: Pathogenic Yersinia have a pronounced tropism for lymphatic tissues and harbor virulence plasmid that encodes type III secretion system, pTTSS, transports Yops into host cells. are critical factors prevent phagocytosis by macrophages neutrophils mutants lacking one or more defective survival in tissues, liver, gastrointestinal tract. However, here we demonstrate Y. pseudotuberculosis (Yptb) the pTTSS survived as well better than wild-type (WT) Yptb mesenteric lymph nodes (MLN). Infection with caused lymphadenitis little necrosis, whereas infection WT provoked multiple necrotic suppurative foci. Gentamicin protection assays microscopic examination of MLN revealed resided extracellularly adjacent to B T lymphocytes cortex paracortex. was found areas less-inflamed areas. To determine whether protected from phagocytic cells, Rag1−/− mice were infected Yptb. but not WT, impaired mice, suggesting lymphocyte-rich regions constitute protective niche mutants. Finally, show invasin chromosomally encoded TTSS required MLN. In summary, sufficient replication paracortex MLN; enables survive within phagocyte-rich nodes, spread other tissues.
