摘要: The expression of peripheral-type benzodiazepine receptor (PBR) and diazepam binding inhibitor (DBI) were studied in human astrocytic tumors using immunocytochemistry situ hybridization. Both PBR DBI prominently expressed neoplastic cells, whereas normal brain their amount was low or undetectable. Immunocytochemical double staining demonstrated that present the same suggesting may act an autocrine manner these cells. Analysis 86 cases showed statistically significantly associated with tumor malignancy grade (P = 0.004) proliferative index as determined by MIB-1 antibody 0.004). Patients having high levels PBR-immunoreactive cells had a shorter life expectancy than patients whose lower contents 0.024). In conclusion, results show is higher tissue. They also suggest might be useful evaluating tumors.
